Absentee voting by mail

Note: In Indiana, ballots are NOT mailed to every registered voter. A Voter must submit an absentee ballot application and it must be processed by the absentee board prior to mailing a ballot. Voting absentee is safe, convenient, and secure. 

3 ways to get an Absentee Ballot Application are listed below:

Option 1 - Online

Apply for an absentee ballot online at Indianavoters.com. The absentee application is immediately received and we print out your application. This is the fastest, easiest and most  secure way to request a ballot by mail. No printer, postage or delay. 

    1. Go to Indianavoters.com 
    2. Click on the blue box that says "Apply Online / Get Forms" and proceed to "Visit My Portal"

Option 2 - Paper Application

Print out and complete the absentee ballot application form and mail it to Clark County Voter Registration at 501 E. Court Avenue, Jeffersonville, IN. If you prefer you may hand deliver your application to the Voter Registration office. Click below to get your application.

Option 3 - Request By Phone

Call the Voter Registration office at 812.285.6329 to request an absentee ballot application and one will be mailed to you.

Early IN-Person Voting

Anyone who is a registered voter in Clark County may come to Voter Registration located at 501 E. Court Avenue, Jeffersonville, IN to cast their vote early. All voters will be required to provide an Indiana State issued ID to vote.  Please feel free to call 812-285-6329 if you have any questions regarding voting early in person.

IN-PERSON EARLY VOTING SCHEDULE

  • Wednesday – Friday, October 11th – October 13th, 2023 (9:00am - 4:00pm)
  • Monday-Friday October 16th – November 3rd, 2023 (9:00am - 4:00pm)
  • Saturdays: October 28th and November 4th, 2023 (9:00am - 4:00pm)
  • November 6th – Monday,  9:00am - 12:00pm (noon) ONLY

Voting at your Precinct

Please note: you may only vote at your specified precinct on election day. 

All registered voters may also choose to vote at their designated precinct on Election Day.  Visit indianavoters.com to locate your voting location for the upcoming election.
