Economic Development Projects
Ohio River Bridges Project
The Louisville-Southern Indiana Ohio River Bridges Project is designed to improve safety, alleviate traffic, connect highways and create economic development.
Additional Bridge & Road Projects:
- Lancassange Bridge Replacement - This project began in September and is ongoing, with an estimated completion time line of 90 days.
- Elrod Road Bridge Replacement - Work on this project is scheduled to begin on October 1st, and is estimated to take approximately 2 weeks to complete.
- Deer Lake Subdivision Bridge - Work on this project is expected to begin on October 1st, and includes extension construction on both sides of the existing structure.
- Striping of Roads Throughout Clark County - Crews will be out in various locations over the next 30 days striping over 120 miles of roadway throughout the county.
- Paving of Roads Throughout Clark County - Crews will be out in various locations paving approximately 12 miles throughout Clark County. This is the first new paving project in approximately 3 years.
- Henryville Blue-Lick Road - Work is underway to widen Henryville Blue-Lick Road from I-65 to Pixley Knob Road. Approximately 1 mile has been completed, work will continue to completion.
- Star Hill Road - Construction underway, scheduled for completion in 2015. Star Hill Road will connect Ind. 60 to US 150 in Greenville.
- In The Works - Plans for future construction projects include Whiskey Hill Road, and Pleasant Run. Updated information on projects will be posted as available.
River Ridge Commerce Center
River Ridge Commerce Center includes around 6000 acres of land under common site control being developed as a modern business park. It is located along the Ohio River in Clark County, Indiana and is part of the Louisville, KY area. The site fronts 6 miles of 4-lane Indiana Highway 62.
