CLARK COUNTY ELECTION BOARD

PUBLIC TEST NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Clark County Election Board will meet on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 5:00 pm in the basement on the Court Side of the Clark County Government Building, 501 East Court Avenue, Jeffersonville, Indiana.

The purpose of the meeting is to conduct a Public Test of the Election Systems and Software (ES&S) Ballot Card Voting System Automatic Tabulating Machines (EAGLE OPTECH III-P) and DS850 Central Count Tabulator that will be used in the General Election on November 3, 2015.

The Public Test is open the public pursuant to IC 3-11-13-22

GENERAL ELECTION DAY IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2015

GREATER CLARK SCHOOLS REFERENDUM

The following public question will appear on the November 3, 2015 General Election Ballot.

Shall the Greater Clark County Schools issue bonds or enter into a lease to finance the 2015 Multi-Facility Safety, Security, Technology, Construction and Restoration Project, which will consist of the renovation of many existing school facilities and the construction of improvements, including safety improvements, additions and new school facilities, and the installation of technology at new and existing facilities, and is estimated to cost not more than $109,200,000 and is estimated to increase the property tax rate for debt service by $0.3927 per $100 of assessed valuation?

  2. Click on Estimated Referendum Impact Calculator (in the middle of the page)
  3. Click on County and select Clark – it defaults to Greater Clark Schools
  4. Input your Gross Assessed Value – your homes tax value
  5. Select Property type
  6. Select Exemptions
  7. Click on Estimate Impact for results
